I’m a big fan of both Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services. The two clouds are redefining the way web, apps and everything on the internet is made accessible from enterprise to the average user.   2. Hello Lucian, thanks for the comparison, it’s very useful!

    A few remarks though:
    . AWS ELB doesn’t relate to Traffic Manager but to (external or internal) Load-balancer
    . Route53 relates to Traffic Manager
    . As of 1st of April’16, AWS Lambda equivalent is WebJob successor a.k.a Azure Functions (https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/services/functions/).

  3. You haven’t mentioned Azure SQL. Which is a Microsoft distributed Relational database.

  4. Elastic Beanstalk’s comparable feature in Azure in WebApps.
